I am Barranquillera to the sound of a cumbia, the smell of las alegrias con coco y anis, the flavors of tamarindo, mamom, corozo and mangos. I am Barranquillera because I still remember the cool breeze of December and el "Dia de las velitas". I can still sing the cry of Joselito that closes the end of the Carnival. I dream of my city...I dream of my land... I paint.
